Calling all photographers

After purchasing the Photolife 3 and a million and one poses and props, I have a new found love of photography. However I have come to the conclusion that I'm just not "there" yet :) So in light of this I have decided to outsource the photography work where I can. As we all know, image is very important and I want to put TempT's best face forward! I have seen some pretty amazing work by photographers such as Ooh la la and some other amazing works while shoping for poses at Essential Soul Studio N Poses. I am also seeing photo contests are making a very big appearance all over too. So I have been debating about doing something similar for those who love photography and are skilled/pros- with no place to go. Of course this is just a thought really, and I am not even sure its possible or worth while to even persue-so I thought I would present this to you!
A contest could help us pick the best of the best to help us put our face and name out there. The winner would get full access/use of my studio location to use for their own business purposes and full use of my own PL3 and all the bits and pieces that go with it- in exchange for photography work for TempT. The studio would be converted into a full-on photography shop with an elegant style designed for optimal customer service for the artist.
So now to find out if this is worth persuing. Feedback anyone? Ideas?

Oh and I forgot...The July Giftie

This month I was inspired to create a different kind of mermaid av...Introducing Naeco the 'cat'fish mermaid avatar! She is a nekko-loving mermaid all dressed up :) She includes the skin with kitty make up, tail and fins, paw print top, Mask, and kitty collar. Oh and did I mention she is free for July? Naeco is this month's VIP group giftie! Just wear your group tags and find her in one of the shop spots at the main shop! Much love to all the TempT'd fans ;)

Finishing touches for the new island look

With the new build up for a week now, I have managed to see what some of the issues are. For starters, its a bit too scattered with no direction. Another issue seems to be where to put the modern fashions. I ran out of room in the tiny cottage fast. So we have started a bigger build to house all new product and modern fashions/home decor. Its still not going to be as huge as the castle thank goodness, but it will provide a focal point for shoppers. The ability to shop for distinct fantasy items will still be available of course, since there will still be Mercove, the Caves, and the Tree/Stumps. But there will be just a bit more "togetherness also offered. Best of both worlds! So after careful deliberation, we decided to design the main area shop as old ruins with several levels. It will be a fun project but will look a bit messy so please forgive! If you have any other ideas that would go with the theme of things, I would love to hear them.

TempT's Got A New Look!

As of July 1st, we have a whole new look! Down went the TempT castle walls and in its place has sprung a mighty mystical forest and even lovelier Mercove...seething with magic and wonder! I am still playing around with the placement of the product. It is very difficult to catagorize distinctly so I found ;) Explore all of TempT'd Forest including the Elven Treehouse, the Fairy Stump, The Unusual Caves, and the little Elven house that rests in the forest, and coming soon will be the Acorn shop for tinies and little tykes!
With all that glistening newness you know there has to be goodies right? right??!? To start of the month, we jumped on board the Cinderella's Lost Shoe Hunt by Total Betty and yet another Gone Fishing Event by Coul Creations.
For the CLSH, the hint is " One shouldn't wear heels while climbing big trees".
For those who love to fish, join us on the docks for the Gone Fishing hunt. Prizes must be fished for! I am also finishing up the July Group Giftie and will have it out tonight :)

Quests in long forgotten forests...

*CHAKRYN FOREST*
My wonderful husband went off exploring and came across a rare delight in SL. Its an amazing forest filled with magic and wonder! Chakryn Forest is what I am constantly striving for in my own space and hope to achieve one day!
As we wandered about, we discovered 4 quests that visitors can take part in, leading the explorer to search every inch of the forest for small treasures that must be returned in order to get a prize. Each one is a special journey and oh so much fun! As we stumbled upon a tree stump filled with sprites and fae dancing about and wood all a glow, we read the inscription aloud. Off to find the mystical treasures we go and what do we stumble on? A hobbit's plea for help! With the help of my wonderful partner, we finally managed to find all the components for each of the quests and the treasures are lovely! It was exciting and fun and very worth the time and effort. I hope you all stop in and partake of the beauty...and dont forget to make a donation if you like it! Thank you hubby ;)

Latest Additions to TempT

MERCOVE UPDATED
Well, the new sim deal fell through...that'll teach me to keep quiet until its a sure deal ;) But we still have a pretty amazing sim where we are so I have begun the process of remodeling. The first remodel has been Mercove. My partner D and I have been busy creating a much more detailed mer-hangout and storefront. We have also added about 9 extra little nooks for other mer designers to join us in this underwater wonder. Some of the smaller details are still being worked out but it should be up and open to the public by tomorrow. For those of you who went to the Fantasy faire, you will notice the bit of nostalgia used at the front gates ;0 Which btw, raised over 2 Million lindens for RFL in just one week! Wtg!!
We have also been toying around with the idea of putting in some undersea homes for rent, but we are waiting to see what kind of interest we generate :)

RETIRED SHOP
Our second adventure is one we have been trying to finish for a while. We now have a remote shop that is dedicated to all retired product from LaKira and Lachesis Designs (our old name) and from TempT. Its all 10L! Visit our little tree house for newbie freindly prices and keep an eye on the dollarbie room at the very top! This will be a combination of old gifties from TempT and other goods from other sources and some BIAB's for those looking to learn about creation or business in SL. Enjoy the midnight garden down below, where we will be hosting other fun events in the future!
