New Release & TempT'ed Lovers Hunt

Hello everyone and happy new year :) Yes yes I know, I'm a bit delayed. But my focus has been on the store and creating for the wonderful projects we have coming up and I have neglected the blog. For starters, I wanted to introduce the newest fashion release~ Jezebelle. She is city chic and perfect for those early chilly spring days. She has it all: Full outfit including matching boots, scarf, hat, handbag, and gloves. She is available in 5 colors...unless of course you purchase the fat pack, which has a bonus color free included :) The 6th color was created for a special event I have coming up and is only available to purchase regularly in the fatpack :D

I have also released some accessory add-ons in a variety of textures to accent all of the colors. Each of the add-ons look great with just about every color of Jezebelle and include the hat, scarf, and handbag. These will give your outfit a whole new twist! Find them with the Jezebelle outfits in the clothing department :)
Now, we are currently in a few grid wide hunts that will be taking place until Vday- Burning Hearts & the BOB hunt for men.
We are also doing a special hunt on the island! We are hosting our annual TempT'ed Lovers Hunt featuring 8 hidden gifts within red gem hearts :) Seek out the gems within the main store and Mercove for some great prizes made by yours truly and my assistant, Ms Lynda Rhode. She has been a god send to me and recently been bit by the building bug as well. Her products may soon find their way onto TempT shelves so keep an eye out for them! Anyways, the hunt will begin Feb. 6th and run through the 14th. Be there or be square!
And in case you missed it, we are now involved in several sales days that are a big hit in SL. 60L Sundays, which is now Friday 7pm thru Sun at midnight, will offer you an awesome deal each and every weekend for just 60L. Sometimes its clothes and jewelry and others its home furnishings. Then we are also in the BHP (Bargain Hunters Paradise) event weekly. One item is placed out for 50L or less all week long and I change them out every Friday.
These sales events have been a welcome change from the overwhelming nature of GW hunts these days. We have started to steer from them a bit as its just getting to be too much. But never fear, we will continue hunts monthly- just not so many.

Baby its cold outside...

As the weather turns colder, we find ourselves tucked inside our homes with nothing much to do but kill time. Hopefully this will bring us all to SL, our favorite home away from home :D If you haven't already, I encourage you all to come check out the new layout and shop at TempT and share your opinions and suggestions with me! The old style was great for more roleplay environments as opposed to a store, so the new shop is open and easier to cam around. Mercove still houses all things mer, since the water is the best place to be. The fantasy forest also still houses the fantasy decor in the old large stump. But if its general and modern fashions and home decor your looking for, the main shop is the place to be! Soon there will be snow on the ground and the fishing hole will be frozen over for a bit of ice fishing!

With SL freezing up the last week so much, I havent bothered to build for sake of my sanity, but I will be back at it for the holidays. If you have ideas you would like to see, I love to hear them!

The Haunt has come to TempT

The latest news
TempT has been overrun with lost souls ghouls and creepy things...all beckoning for you to come. The sim has been redecorated and we are ready for the greatest season of all (next to xmas of course)! Venture into the haunted forest where many things go bump in the night...if you dare.
TempT is a part of 5 hunts this month, so dont miss out! The first three that started on the 1st are the Pumpkin Pawprint hunt, The Halloween Hunt, and the Gone Fishing Hunt. The Halloween hunt has been postponed due to some troubles getting started but it is currently being restarted. Once its back up and running, find the prize and it will give you a hint to an extra lil treasure hunt :) follow the clues to find the secret spot with an added prize and fun things to do.
Later in the month, we are a part of the Myth and Legends hunt and the Jack O Turkey Hunt. Many prizes to be had.
This month's group gift has been out for a bit, its a cute pair of sk8r shoes for men or women in festive colors. So wear your group tags and come pick up a pair! But if your not in the group, you can still pickup a pair on the second floor for a great price.
I have soo many new releases for Halloween, I hope you all get a chance to see them! Many of the decor builds are being used in the sim, so if you want to see before you buy, go wander into the freaky forest and scout them out!
So grab your fishing poles and your hunting goggles and get down to TempT for a fun frolic in the muck!

Oh the heat....

Blogging has taken a back burner, as has building lately. It seems that all this heat makes me lazy! I start projects and find myself procrastinating ....horrible isn't it? But I did manage to get the August group gift out-Leather N Mace. Its a delicious combo of jagged leather n lace n brocades, with arm and leg warmer style pieces to highlight the yummy corseted top and playful skirt. Its a definite fav already!
I have also decided to discontinue my monthly hunts that I used to have on the island. Now don't panic, I haven't discontinued hunts! I will be taking part in 2 grid wide hunts each month and will still have the treasure chests that are scattered all over the island with prizes that change randomly. But with all the freebies floating around out there, I have come to the decision that too much of a good thing is just that, too much. Shop owners hurt their business by giving away too much. I found I spend more time making the freebies than I do making product for the shop. Now, as you all know, I love to give gifts and I love hunts so I wont be doing away with them completely. But I will be doing less of them. I hope you all understand ;) The two upcoming hunts for September are the Mother/Daughter Hunt & the Game Day Hunt for the men. The first gift is an adorable fairy princess outfit for daughters. The Game Day gift is a set of sexy boxer shorts in a variety of colors, so bring you man with you and hunt for the football.
As for the photography contest, it looks like its a go! I have received enough interest so I have begun the rules/expectations etc process and am now on a hunt for a cool shop to house the new studio. I want it fabulous! The jist of it is, win the photo contest and get a spot on TempT island for your very own photography studio- with full use of amazing props and poses, Photolife 3 studio, and an entire beautiful island at your disposal-in exchange for photography work for TempT. Have a full studio, rent free, for an entire season! Contracts will be for 3 months at a time-and include the store front as well ;) For more information, contact LaKira Ratelle in world. Calling all photographers

After purchasing the Photolife 3 and a million and one poses and props, I have a new found love of photography. However I have come to the conclusion that I'm just not "there" yet :) So in light of this I have decided to outsource the photography work where I can. As we all know, image is very important and I want to put TempT's best face forward! I have seen some pretty amazing work by photographers such as Ooh la la and some other amazing works while shoping for poses at Essential Soul Studio N Poses. I am also seeing photo contests are making a very big appearance all over too. So I have been debating about doing something similar for those who love photography and are skilled/pros- with no place to go. Of course this is just a thought really, and I am not even sure its possible or worth while to even persue-so I thought I would present this to you!
A contest could help us pick the best of the best to help us put our face and name out there. The winner would get full access/use of my studio location to use for their own business purposes and full use of my own PL3 and all the bits and pieces that go with it- in exchange for photography work for TempT. The studio would be converted into a full-on photography shop with an elegant style designed for optimal customer service for the artist.
So now to find out if this is worth persuing. Feedback anyone? Ideas?

This month I was inspired to create a different kind of mermaid av...Introducing Naeco the 'cat'fish mermaid avatar! She is a nekko-loving mermaid all dressed up :) She includes the skin with kitty make up, tail and fins, paw print top, Mask, and kitty collar. Oh and did I mention she is free for July?
