Amazing people & RFL

Relay for Life...what does that mean to you? For most of us, it means taking charge when there is nothing left but a feeling of helplessness. It means finally saying NO MORE suffering, no more sitting by the wayside as this horrible disease hurts everyone around us, no more waiting. There is little else in this world more devastating then watching those you love die a slow and painful death or being the one in the throws of chemo treatment. For the last 8 days, an AMAZING team of folks and thousands of attendees have been hard at work...or shopping til their fingers bled...raising over $21,000 USD for Relay for Life American Cancer Society. Every year, we set a goal and this year we exceeded it! And by we I mean the entire team of Fantasy Faire 2011 creators and all the talented designers who filled 9 sims with delicious products.
You are amazing!
TempT will continue to offer the RFL special edition items at the main shop location until relay season is over. All proceeds to benefit RFL via the Friends Fighting Cancer team. I hope you all continue to show your support all through the relay season!GO RELAY!

RFL Fantasy Faire begins at midnight!

Relay For Life Fantasy Faire 2011 begins in just over 3 hours! If you have never experienced this event, its a must! Strip down to your skivvies, your low lag hair or bald, and take off those scripts. Then find your way to the 9 stunningly designed and themed sims that house some of the best designers of fantasy goods in all of SL! Weather your love is of mermaids, faes, nekkos or scifi aliens you will most certainly find something here! TempT is on the mer sim just below the water surface and we have a whole mess of new mermaids and mermen to oooh and ahhh you all.
Two special gold tails for both mermen and mermaids are up for grabs in the RFL kiosks at my shop, in addition to a fun merskin! And the best part? 100% of the proceeds will go to RFL, a fight in the battle against cancer. We have all lost someone we love to cancer at some time in our lives and some of us have had to witness the horribly devastating toll it takes on its victim and their family. I have lost many loved ones to this bastard disease, some only this year. We must fight back! Help our team, Friends Fighting Cancer, do just that. Every little donation helps.
There is also some information on how to get your hands on some free, YES FREE, skins and shape packs at the TempT booth! Pick up the fun and free tank top that says "I go bare at the faire! 2011 RFL Fantasy Faire

Fantasy Faire 2011 is nearing! If you don't know what this is, shame! Every year, Friends Fighting Cancer, a RFL team, brings together all of the top names in fantasy fashions and goods for a week long faire to benefit RFL. Thousands of dollars are raised every year for a cause most of us have come to know and love. I believe its 8 full sims of fantasy fun and you will find TempT on the Mer Sim :) Two items will be up in each shop with 100% of the proceeds going straight to Relay for Life.
The first item up for grabs for just 300L is Sienna Mermaid in Special Edition RFL gold! Intricate pearl detailed belt and breast plate, sculpted tail, and fins will make all you lovely mers simply glow! Other color versions will also be released at the faire. Another release will be the beautiful Naida Mermaid, Who's beautiful fins will dazzle every onlooker! The second item for RFL will be imaged later this week :) No Peeking!

Awesome Hunts for March!

March is a month filled with awesome hunts and great prizes! Get ready to be oohh'd and aahhh'd! All of the prize pictures are found on the TempT Flickr Site!
First is the awesome Twisted Hunt-Nevermore...anyone on the darker side of things knows all about the Twisted Grid Hunts by DV8 and TempT is #13 on the hunt line. The gifts are super fab for men and women and there is even a mini twisted hunt at my shop for a 3 item for the ladies.
For the main hunt gifts its the wickedly cool Sea Demon for the ladies and for the men. Once you have found the gift it will also give you a clue to start the mini hunt. Follow the 5 clues to find the extra gift for the female Sea Demon set...A highly detailed breastplate and belt set. This is surely one hunt you don't want to miss!

Profile Picks Contest for 1000L a month!

I started my groups without the lure of freebies in hopes of attracting the crowds that appreciated my works, not the goods they get for free. I am proud to say that both the VIP group and the Subscribo groups have reached almost 700 members and this truly moves me. I don't boast thousands of folks yet, but I certainly hope that someday, with your help, we will get to that point. Advertising has never been my strong suit but its time to branch out and reach more people! So with this in mind, we start with the first of several contests available to the VIP group members in world. (This will extend to other group venues at a later time.)
Each month 2 winners names will be drawn at random and if they have TempT in their profile picks section at the time they are drawn, they will win a 500L credit at TempT and their names placed in a raffle for other gifts and cash prizes. The raffle is another project we are currently working on- all entries will be the winners of all of our other contests and will run for several months before the final name is drawn. The gifts will be spectacular and only for this event :)

Profile Picks Instructions
Not sure how to add profile picks for stores? If you are using a viewer with the old interface, such as Phoenix or Imprudence, follow these instructions.
First, make sure your in the VIP group so that we add your name to the drawing monthly. Then teleport to the TempT main store and open your profile. Under "Picks" tab, click "New" button at the top. This will automatically add the shops details. Then finish up by clicking OK to close the profile. As long as you have TempT included in your profile this way, you will be eligible for this contest.

Also, I encourage the readers of this blog to subscribe and be counted!! The next project is for the members of our web based groups and only those who are listed will get the goodies!

SL Marketplace...

While there was much debate on the new marketplace and its value, I must say I am impressed with some of the new features. After a great deal of procrastination, I have finally managed to get TempT on board. Shopping for TempT goodies just got a whole lot easier! Granted, I do not have everything up yet...not even close! But Its a great start and I will post all new product on the marketplace same time I put it in stores.

Changes at TempT

TempT has moved one final time to a wonderful sim called junkDrawer! We have joined 3 other very talented creators here and are very much at home! We hope you will stop in for a visit! The advent calendar has relocated here as well :) For those who are in the VIP group, the group gift is also out until after Christmas. Just wear your group tags and pick it up at the front desk!

TempT has also created a Facebook page in addition to our Moolto and blog so that you will never miss those great updates! Come show your support and "like" us...haha, way to make a person feel like a total looser Facebook! Will you come like me? *roles her eyes*
